How to Restore files after Reformatting?

You will need to use a data recovery program such as Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery. Follow the Step by Step Process to restore the files:

  • Install the program on your Windows or Mac computer system depending on the version of the program that you purchased.
  • Connect the storage device that has been formatted to the computer. This can include an internal or external hard drive or flash memory card.
  • Double click on the icon on the desktop after the program has been installed on start the program.
  • Select the option under Data Recovery that says Formatted/Lost Files and Folder Recovery. This option is used to recovery data from formatted hard drives or other formatted storage devices.
